Pomelle Holdsworth

The idea of this guitar started with a personal challenge to make the lightest guitar I could make as well as the best all around sounding and playing guitar.  This guitar has a master grade one piece Pomelle Sapelle top with a Sassafras, Padauk, Oak and Sapele body.  The neck is a Wizard profile with a partial head to allow it to hang like a regular neck.  The pickups were found after a lengthy search for Carvin vintage 22 Pole Allan Holdsworth pickups.  This guitar went is the second of my guitars that are now owned by a professional Jazz player and music professor.  The final weight was 5.2lbs.
