This project started with an amazing cross section of a Spalted Maple tree that was begging to be turned into something.  This was especially challenging as the biggest surfaces were end grain.  While it took a lot of work, I believe it was worth it.

This guitar has locking tuners and loaded with Seymour Duncan pickups.  The Hotrails Humbucker neck plus the standard Seymour Duncan Quarter Pound in the bridge makes a great combo tone for leads in the samples below.
